James River Knights place 3rd in State Wrestling Tournament

James River High School took 7 wrestlers to the State Tourney in Salem on Feb. 18 and 19. Tthey finished 3rd overall in Divison 2. Three wrestlers won 1st place and are state champions:

120- Craig Bowyer, 126-Chase Cuddy and 195- Carder Miller.

All 4 remaining wrestlers earned a placement on the winners podium of their weight classes. They are:

106- Xaiden Wynn 4th place, 113- Brayden Forbes 5th place, 145- Wesley Ferguson 5th place and 160- Hunter forbes 2nd place.

Congratulations to the wrestlers and coaches for another stellar year! Go Knights!
