A Tuba Christmas
Baritone and tuba players from James River and Lord Botetourt High Schools participated with other players of all ages from the area in TubaChristmas at River Ridge Mall in Lynchburg last Sunday. The participants are Iain Graff and David Merritt. From Lord Botetourt Jordan Shrewsury, Keith Cox and Kenzie Wilson.
The local musicians came together and rehearsed for an hour before doing a concert of Christmas carols in the mall. This event was sponsored by Liberty University and is held yearly. It is part of a world wide TubaChristmas movement. The high school students had a lot of fun and hope to do it again next year!
