Roads info and yes its true a Dairy Queen in Daleville Town Center is under Review!

U.S. 220 renovations should be finished soon and improvements are planned for the intersection of US 220 and International Parkway, the Board of Supervisors learned at its November 23, 2021 meeting.

The safety improvements on US 220, which basically go from Eagle Rock to Iron Gate, are expected to be finished by mid-December. The project has been underway for almost two years.

Improvements at the entrance to the county’s premier industrial park, The Botetourt Center at Greenfield, are in the planning stages. Proposals should be available sometime next year, a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) representative told the Supervisors. No details on what exactly the improvements are were given.

VDOT representatives also noted that the site review for a new Dairy Queen at the Daleville Town Center is currently underway, as are plans for a Fincastle Mennonite Church and School.

A bridge replacement scheduled for Buhrman Road has been cancelled and a future date for the project has not been set.
