American Legion Post 240 looking for Veterans with cool cars for the Car Show in Covington
American Legion Post 240 is looking for Veteran Owned cars from Botetourt to sponsor to this show.
Kars Unlimited is excited to announce the launch of a brand new car show for 2021. The 1st Annual VETERANS IN THE PARK CAR SHOW will be held Saturday May 29, 2021 at the Jackson River Sports Complex. Proceeds from this show will help support our local veterans through our local VFW post. This event will coincide with the City of Covington’s Summer Kick Off event on Memorial Day weekend. The show will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will be open to all types of vehicles. In addition to the car show entertainment will be provided by the Covington Department of Parks and Recreation. As this event will be happening concurrently with the city’s “Summer Kick Off” event you will want to stick around after the show for a performance by the band “True Cadence” from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the River Rock Amphitheater. We are all looking forward to starting the summer with this great event.
