Troutville VFD Golf Tournament is Sept. 25

The Troutville Volunteer Fire dept is pleased to announce that it will host its 2nd annual Charity Golf tournament to be held at Botetourt Golf and Swim Club on Sept 25th, 2020. Registration and luncheon for players will be provided at 11am followed by Captain’s choice shotgun at 12 noon. The tournament will provide scholarship funding for high school seniors wishing to further their education in fire, EMS, or law enforcement. Initially two scholarships will be offered, one to Lord Botetourt, and one to James River High school seniors. Because of your support, two graduating seniors from the Class of 2019 of Botetourt County High Schools were awarded $1,000.00 scholarships each to support their higher education in the fall. The Tournament entry fee, limited to 116 golfers, will be $100 which will include lunch, cart and green fees and PRIZES! Additional sponsorship are available. Prizes will include longest drive, closest- to- the- pin and a slew of others~. Put this on your calendar!! The Troutville Volunteer Fire department will be most Grateful to our community in their effort to kick off its Annual Charity Golf tournament and to attract young men and women to a career in FIRE, EMS, or Law enforcement.
