“This year our kick-off event is an art market at Virginia Mountain Vineyards, 4204 Old Fincastle Road, Fincastle, VA 24090; on Sunday, August 30 from 1PM- 5PM”,” says member artist Brett LaGue. “Plus we will have open air artist demonstrations inspired by the beautiful views from the vineyard. The schedule will be posted on the OSB Facebook page. Open Studios -Botetourt artists will also have fine arts and crafts for sale under the big tent. There is plenty of room for social distancing in all areas of the vineyard. This event is free and everyone is invited to attend,” he adds.
In October 2018, Virginia Mountain Vineyards was purchased by new owners who are carrying on the tradition of growing and harvesting some of the best grapes in southwest Virginia. All of the Virginia Mountain Vineyards wines are produced from grapes that are harvested from their vineyard and are renowned for their quality.
