Photos: Elected officials sworn into Botetourt offices Dec. 16

Botetourt Officials elected in November were sworn in Dec. 16. Their first day in office will be Jan. 1, 2020. Circuit Court Judge, The Honorable Joel Branscom swore in the officials. His best remark of the day, “Once sworn in, you leave the politics at the door and start serving Botetourt County.”

Those who took the oath office to serve were:

Commissioner of Revenue Chris Booth, Treasurer Bill Arney, Sheriff Matt Ward, Commonwealth’s Attorney John Alexander, Blue Ridge Supervisor Billy Martin, Fincastle Supervisor Dick Bailey, Blue Ridge School Board Matt East, Fincastle School Board Dana McCaleb and Valley District Tim Davidick.
