Lord Botetourt Marching Cavaliers finish fantastic competition season

Marching Cavs had a great season.

The Lord Botetourt Marching Cavaliers competed this weekend in the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative (VMBC) State Championship held at Liberty University.  The Cavaliers competed in Class 3A with some of the best bands in the State.  The students did an amazing job and performed their best show of the season.  The Cavaliers finished 6th in Class 3A with their highest VMBC score to date.

During the Finals Awards, Senior McKayla Hoke was recognized as one of the five recipients of a scholarship sponsored by the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative.

The Cavaliers will perform their 2019 show “War Dance” one more time on Friday, November 8th at halftime of the home football game.  If you have not caught the performance, it is definitely one to see.

Thank you for all of your support and help during the 2019 Competition season.  We could not do it without the support of our Administration, School, Community and our fantastic Booster Parents.
