Eagle Rock Elementary School Red Ribbon Week

Students at Eagle Rock Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 21-25, 2019.  During the week, students participated in various spirit days and schoolwide activities to promote character and being drug free.

On Monday, all students and staff wore nametags to remind us that “Everyone Has a Name.”  Students and staff were encouraged to greet each individual by name on this day.

Tuesday was “Make a New Friend Day.”  Students were encouraged to eat with or play with a new friend, and classes discussed the experience together.

On Wednesday, students wore shirts related to their interests, and were encouraged to make connections with other students with similar interests.

Thursday, we focused on kindness.  Everyone wore Eagle Rock colors and students were encouraged to perform acts of kindness and notice others doing the same.  We had a banner to display the acts of kindness observed by students and staff.

On Friday, all students and staff wore red to send a message that Eagle Rock pledges to be drug free.
