See Fincastle’s Yancey Christmas play, “Exchange of Gifts,” tickets are now on sale.

Botetourt County audiences have a rare opportunity to see the work of Fincastle playwright Dwayne Yancey, whose work has been performed in 14 countries and most recently won an award in Australia.
This December, a production of his Christmas play EXCHANGE OF GIFTS will hit the road for nine shows in western Virginia.

Tickets for the only Roanoke show are now on sale. Better hurry!

The play tells the story of three international students in the U.S. who are trying to get home for Christmas but find themselves snowbound in an airport. The play is directed by Kerry Plank, who has previously directed shows at Attic Productions in Fincastle. It stars Lyndsey Hanks, Kaiya Hoagland and Olivia Hunter — the latter who of whom have also appeared at Attic. The show is suitable for all ages although small children likely won’t understand the story.

The only other shows near Botetourt are in Clifton Forge, LaBelveau in Catawba Valley north of Blacksburg and Bedford. Here’s the full tour schedule:
