Fish Fry at Church of Transfiguration $10 at Door. Fincastle on Roanoke RD 5-7 pm Fried flounder, fries, coleslaw, drink and dessert. Proceeds go to KoC Coats for children mission

Saturday

Botetourt Farmers Market 8:30 -12:30. Daleville Town Center Bank of Botetourt lot. Local fare, arts, crafts and wine

Botetourt BBQ Fest at Jeter Farm 460 East in Blue Ridge 2:30 thru 8:30 pm

Rise against Hunger 10- 12 Buchanan Firehouse Main Street

River recreation on The James River, Buchanan and Eagle Rock. Public Boat Landings. Fishing, canoe and kayak, tube, swim. Upperjamesriverwatertrail.com for map of 59 miles of waterway. Go any day of the week

The Appalachian Trail Hiking in Botetourt County. Any day of the week with access in Daleville and Troutville

Roaring Run, Northwest of Eagle Rock on Craig Creek Road follow signs, features picnic area, hiking, fishing, an historic iron furnace, swimming and splashing. Any day of the week.
