This week at Catawba Valley Farmers Market

The market has a variety of vegetables including corn, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, beets, green beans and potatoes. Also, several kinds of peppers. Fruits like peaches, apples, and grass fed beef, pork products and eggs. Baked goods, arts and crafts, preserved foods.

Woodsong will play hammered dulcimer, guitar and banjo

Pottery workshop $11 inside community center. Make your own pinch pot.

Blue Grass Concert at the Catawba Center is Sunday August 25 at 3 p.m.

Features local band Country Connection

Bring a lawn chair and be ready for some toe tapping good music at the Catawba Community Center Blue Grass Gospel Concert admission is free but donations welcome for the Catawba Ruritan Club to offset construction on the picnic shelter addition.

Light refreshments by the CVFM.

The shelter will be hold a dedication after the concert in memory of Lucille Garman and Robert Layman
