VDOT South bound I- 81 improvements public hearing Tuesday 1/ 29 from 5-7 pm at Buchanan Elementary

UPDATE: DUE TO IMPENDING INCLEMENT WEATHER THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FEB. 5.

A VDOT design public hearing in an open house forum for South bound I-81 Improvements in Botetourt Co. will be presented on Tuesday Jan. 29 from 5-7 p.m.

VDOT officials will be there to show renderings and give information on the improvements on the S-curve near exit 167 and 168. They will also discuss closure of the Exit 167 ramp near the site.

The meeting will be held at Buchanan Elementary School. The project is part of the VDOT transportation plan to improve the I-81 corridor. Public comment is solicited at the meeting and by e-mail and mail.
