James River Holiday concert
James River High School presented a delightful array of music at the holiday concert on Dec. 19. Postponed by snow, the choir and band did a great job of preparing under adverse conditions.
The choir had a set of 11 songs with many soloists that included Lauren Fox, Jasmine Myers, Pandora Gazich, Chloe Bennett and Alana Deskins.
The band came in and performed in several sets. First they marched into the auditorium and performed their Christmas parade music. Next a Chamber ensemble took the stage, then the symphonic concert band performed, followed by the jazz band.
