Sept 11 remembrance in Roanoke featured Botetourt firefighters
On Sat. Sept 8, multitudes of firefighters raced the steps of the Wells Fargo Tower in Downtown Roanoke in memory of the brave fire fighters who climbed the 110 stories of the twin towers in NYC in 2001. Many of them were from Botetourt County.
It has been 17 years. Please pause to remember the thousands lost and injured on Sept. 11, 2001 when our nation was attacked by terrorists.
