Youth Expo coming Friday Feb 18!

Annual 4H/FFA Youth Expo

The Botetourt County Alumni and Supporters of the 4H and FFA will be Hosting their annual Youth Expo on Friday, February 18th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Lord Botetourt High School.  We are inviting anyone in the county that is interested in seeing the accomplishments of these youth organizations to come out and join us.

The Botetourt County FFA Alumni and Supporters will be providing free hotdogs, chips, waters and desserts for all who attend. At the event the FFA will be hosting the district public speaking event while the 4H will be holding it’s annual Share the Fun Event.

Aside from these events all of the local 4H organizations and FFA chapters in the county will have displays of their various groups. This is an opportunity for all of them to show off and promote their accomplishments over the year. This is a family friendly event with things to see for all ages including the livestock that will be on display in the Agriculture Laboratory.

There is no cost to attend the event although you will have an opportunity to purchase tickets for our “Corn hole Board Raffle” or make donations to any of the organizations at the event.

We hope that you will be able to attend. We need your support if we are going to live up to the mission of the Alumni Association which is to secure the promise of 4-H, FFA and

Agricultural education by creating an environment where people and communities can,

develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.

If you have any questions you can contact any FFA Advisor, at their home schools.
