Beaverdam Farm Sunflower Festival Sept. 12-13 through Sept. 19- 20 with events in between
This upcoming two weekends Sunflower event brings back the sunny side of life on 424 Wheatland Road just off Rt. 11 North and South in Buchanan.
Beaver Dam Farm holds it’s 5th annual Sunflower Festival Sept. 12. 13, and 19-20. Events in the week in between two sold out dinners in the Sunflowers, Goat Yoga on the 14th, Paint Night on the 16th and Sunset Yoga on the 18th. the field will be open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Last year over 20,000 visitors came to the festival! Weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is $5
Tickets should be purchased in Advance on beaverdamsunflowers.com as there will be a limited amount of tickets at the gate.
Candace Monahan the organizer of the two-week event reports, “There are 21 acres containing 500,000 sunflowers. Red Sunflowers are an addition for the second weekend! Music all day both Saturdays, Wagon rides, Photo Booth opportunities in the fields. Also there will be 17 food vendors and over 50 craft and retail tents.”
Covid -19 has changed protocol. Please stay home if you have a fever. Masks when you wait in line, social distancing is a must if at all possible. There will be multiple sanitizing stations available, All protocols can be found on beaverdamsunflowers,com
