James River Marching Knights place 3rd in tri state competition
The James River Marching Knights placed 3rd of 14 bands when they competed at Marshall University’s Tri-State Marching Championships on October 16th. Traditionally the competition hosts bands from West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky, the Marching Knights were the only band from Virginia to attend the event.
They wowed the crowd with their music and their show. They got cheers throughout, especially during the sword fight and with the death of the Black Knight.
We are so proud of their hard work, dedication and group effort to achieve this recognition. Congratulations Marching Knights!
This coming weekend, Lord Botetourt hosts The Cavalier Classic in Daleville. The Knights would love to see many fans wearing red, white and black!
