- Hands down our largest story just happened. Over 12,000 people thus far have been touched by the story of Sheriff Ronnie Sprinkle’s retirement announcement after 20 years. Many have left comments. Good luck Sheriff Sprinkle.
2. The death of Jack Leffel was a shock. His tenure on two elected boards left a mark on both the school board and the Board of Supervisors. He will be missed.
3. Though not a big hit getter, our pick for the most important story of the year revolved around the wireless and broadband technology summit. There has to be better wireless if we are going to do better business and serve the citizens who live and work here. We must get into the 21st century.
