Troutville Lions Club selling apple butter

Troutville Lions Club members Jerry Huff, Helen Tippie, Everett Hurst and Stan Diez sold apple butter at the Botetourt Farmers Market on Sat. July 28. “Apple butter sells for $5 per pint or $8 per quart,” noted Tippie who is the club president.

She said, “100% of the funds we raise go to charities. The club is looking for membership. It meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. at the Troutville Town Hall for a dinner meeting.

Among the projects the club provides are vision screenings at the Botetourt public schools along with other area Lions Clubs.
