Doctor to locate membership based practice at MKB building in Daleville

A new medical facility plans to move to Botetourt following approval of a Special Exceptions Permit (SEP) at the Board of Supervisors’ July 26, 2022 meeting at Greenfield.

Roanoke Valley Direct Primary Care, LLC, plans to move into the MKB Building at the corner of Wendover and Roanoke Roads. Information provided to the Supervisors indicates there would be one physician and staff in the building, which is zoned Business (B-1). Medical facilities require SEPs in that zoning.

The Supervisors approved the SEP with the condition that no drug addiction facility be allowed in the building.

Information provided to the supervisors indicates this primary care physician’s office would operate on a membership basis, where patients would receive unlimited care based on a monthly fee, called the Direct Primary Care model. The physician has an established client base of 3,000 patients.
