Lord Botetourt Marching Cavaliers placed 1st in AAA Band Competition and 3rd overall
The Marching Cavaliers competed in their first competition of the season this weekend. The band traveled to Salem for the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative Blue Ridge Regional Competition.
The Cavaliers competed in Class AAA. The band received 1st Place in Music Ensemble, Visual Ensemble, Music Effect, and Visual Effect. The group also received 2nd Place in Color Guard and Percussion. The band finished 1st Place in Class AAA and 3rd overall for the day.
The band competes on the 25th at William Fleming in the first annual Star City Classic. The JMU Marching Royal Dukes will be there in exhibition. Our band performs at 5:50pm.
