Kindness Card Campaign continues through Jan. 29

lp Spread Kindness to Our Schools
The Suicide Prevention Council of Roanoke Valley (SPCRV) and Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare
(BRBH) would like to announce the kickoff of the 3
rd Installment of the Spreading Kindness
Card Campaign. This time, we want to share positive messages to all school employees in the
Roanoke Valley.
Our schools have faced difficulties and challenges throughout the pandemic. The adjustments
that have been made to help our students excel are worthy of tremendous praise and
appreciation. Sending messages of encouragement is a simple way we can all help show our
gratitude and support. In these trying times, we can all use that.
We are asking the public to create short, simple messages for school employees with colorful
images, stickers, and lettering. Our goal for this campaign is 5,750 cards! Our last campaign for
the elderly generated 4,383 cards so we know we can reach this new goal with support from
the community. All cards will be due by January 29, 2021.
