JRHS graduating Senior Class 2020 says thanks for the parade help
Dear Editor,
On behalf of the parents of the 2020 JRHS graduating class of seniors, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to all who helped to make the Knight Cruise 2020 a hit. The parade was a huge success and could not have been so without the partnerships that we had with community members. We would like to thank the fire departments of Fincastle, Buchanan and Eagle Rock, and especially Bobby Simmons and Joey Carter.
We also felt great support from the police department, especially Matt Ward, Steve Honaker, Travis Alderman and Todd Francis. We’d also like to thank members of Mill Creek Baptist Church, Buchanan Baptist Church and Limestone Park for their partnership.
Finally, we appreciate the cooperation of Dana McCaleb, JRHS PTA President as well as Katie and Austyn Kitt, who donated their photography services. And Thank you to the Botetourt Bee for helping us with our efforts and promoting our events.
This was truly a time for all of us to come together to celebrate our seniors in the manner in which they deserve. We appreciate the citizens of Buchanan for tolerating the traffic and noise for the afternoon and for celebrating alongside of us.
