Scholarships announced by Mountain Castles Soil and Water Conservation District
Andrew Newcomb of James River HS is receiving the $1,000 Harold P. “Bubby” Entsminger Honorary Scholarship. An active FFA member, Andrew was a member of the award-winning Environmental and Natural Resources team from James River.
Faith Settle of Lord Botetourt HS is receiving the $1,000 John & Hallie Siebel Memorial Scholarship. An active FFA member, Faith is also our district’s nominee for one of the state-wide scholarships given by the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
