Skylar Gay of Fincastle is candidate for Virginia’s Outstanding Teen

Skylar Gay of Fincastle was crowned Miss Chesterfield’s Outstanding Teen in January. She is a dual enrollment student at Virginia Western Community College where she is obtaining an Associates Degree in General Studies and Certificate in Bio Technology.

Skylar recently participated in National Pancake Day to raise moneies for equipment and services at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She is offering afterschool technology classes at the Fincastle Library.

Skylar will compete for the title of Miss Virginia’s Outstanding Teen in June.
