Happy New Year
Happy New Year
We made it to 2020. The roaring twenties are making a come-back for sure. Based on what my childhood taught me, I was expecting to see flying cars and robot maid services. The Jetsons were wrong.
I am sure many of you have figured out your resolutions by now, just like I am quite positive that some of you have already broken them. The good news is that you have almost an entire year to get it together.
How about goals? Have you considered what your goals are for 2020? This is different from a resolution. A goal is achievable in stages and should be measurable whereas a resolution is kind of finite in nature. For example, my goal for 2020 is to complete my 2nd book, and my resolution is to give up soft drinks. It is day 2 of 2020 and I have already failed at the soft drink challenge.
Give yourself some credit if you break your resolutions because Rome wasn’t built in a day. Every day above ground is a new day of new opportunities, growth, and do-overs. Start fresh and try again. You can do it!
Let’s toast to the new year. Raise your beverage (I won’t be raising a soft drink) and cheers to a new year full of new friendships, new successes, new learning curves, and new opportunities. May you and your loved ones be blessed in 2020 with good health, prosperity, and joy.
