Botetourt Fishing Carnival is June 8 at Buchanan Town Park
Fishing Carnival: what is it? And what do you need to participate? Children are encouraged to bring their own fishing pole and tackle. There will be poles and bait on site (first come) for those that don’t own fishing tackle.. Days activities will include but not limited to: Door Prizes to the first 350 children Big Fish Contest – trophies Big Fish Team Challenge (parents too) – trophies Casting Contest – trophies River Clean up game – prizes Gold Fish eating contest Worms in the dirt counting Games for 6 and under BB activities Fly tying and casting There will be a grand prize drawing for children 6 and under and 7 to 15 years of age. Lunch will be served to whole family
