HS Seniors check out the Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
In support of our workforce of tomorrow, the Chamber each year awards three scholarships to graduating seniors: one each from James River and Lord Botetourt High Schools and at the Botetourt Technical Education Center. Each recipient will receive a $750 scholarship paid directly to the institution they are attending at the beginning of the school year.
To be considered the applicant must be graduating in the spring of 2019, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5, participated in school and community activities, possess two letters of recommendation and plan on attending an accredited institution.
The scholarship application can be found on both the Lord Botetourt and James River Guidance websites along with the Chamber website. Applications must be returned with all supplemental information by May 3rdto the Botetourt Chamber at P.O. Box 81, Fincastle, VA 24090.
