Booth Announces GOP Bid for Commissioner of Revenue
Botetourt County native Chris Booth announced his Republican candidacy for Commissioner of Revenue in Botetourt County on Wednesday. 

Booth was introduced by Botetourt County Republican Chairman Donald Helms at his announcement at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee in Daleville surrounded by his family and dozens of supporters including State Senator David Suetterlein, Supervisor Billy Martin, and several Botetourt County Republican Committee leaders.

“As a conservative Republican I will work hard to efficiently provide great service to Botetourt County taxpayers,” said Booth.

Booth and his wife Juliana live in Daleville with their two young children where Chris is the Botetourt Manager for MKB, REALTORS. The Botetourt native grew up in Blue Ridge and attended Colonial Elementary and Lord Botetourt High School before Virginia Western and Old Dominion University. 

“Botetourt County has been so good to me and my family and it would be an honor to serve,” said Booth. 

Booth is the Botetourt County Republican Secretary and has been involved in several GOP campaigns in Botetourt. 

“Chris has been a very faithful and hard working member of the Botetourt County Republican Committee. He’s always been willing to help promote our Republican principles,” said Helms.

Voters will choose the Republican nominees for Commissioner Revenue, Commonwealth Attorney, Sheriff, Treasurer and for Supervisor in the Blue Ridge, Fincastle and Valley districts in a state-run primary on Tuesday, June 11.
