Volunteers met groups of potential members at the front door of the new Botetourt Y on Jan. 1 for tours of the new facility. Multitudes of people would come by to check out the and many would become members. Members used the facility as the tours strolled by!
Brittany Madonna, Marketing Director led the tour through the building. The areas featured include a community room with a coffee bar, a free stay and play for kids, a teen room, a number of multi-use rooms, a gymnasium featuring pickle ball as well as basketball and volleyball, indoor pools, walking track, fitness and weight room, and much more. Every room glistens with polished wood and floorings and light on water.
Households can join for a $50 fee plus a 83 per month , individuals may join for $35 plus 55 per month and special lower fees for senior over 71. There are no contracts. A 30 day notice is required to cancel the membership.
The space is beautiful and a great addition to the fitness and community of Botetourt County.
