School will be in session on Dec. 20

Due to four days off for the snow on Dec. 9, Botetourt County schools will hold a makeup day on Dec. 20. Teachers will have a workday on the 21st. 

BCPS banks time each day to satisfy the hours required by the state. Superintendent John Busher said, “Only 4 snow days were worked into the schedule.” Extra minutes will be used, too. However the 20th was a scheduled snow make-up day.
