Election results in local Botetourt elections

John Alexander is the new Commonwealth’s Attorney after filling in for as Hon. Joel Branscom’s unexpired term.

There are 3 incorporated towns in Botetourt County.

Election results in Buchanan Town Council. Craig Bryant, Mayor. John Mays, Jimmy Manspile, Chris Witt and Diane diPalma are the four high vote getters in council.

Troutville election results David Horton, mayor. Council top three vote getters Pat Shaver, Granville Grant, Spurgeon Vaughn.

At press time, Fincastle had not reported town council results. Mary Bess Smith was running unopposed for mayor. George Sydnor, Paige Ware and Ed bordette were on the ballot for Council
