Opioid crisis to be addressed on Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.
| The Botetourt Prevention Coalition will be hosting “Legal Rx and Opioids A Community Conversation” on Tuesday October 23rd at the Buchanan Event Center 14860 Lee Highway, Buchanan, VA 24066. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This event is free to the public and area high school students and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend in order to learn more about prescription pain medications and the dangers of addiction. Ray Sloan has graciously provided the Buchanan Event Center as a venue for this panel discussion. Dinner will be provided free of charge and area businesses have donated gift certificates to local restaurants and shops. Please plan to attend!
