Daleville/Fincastle Lions Club seek to help with tutoring

Daleville/Fincastle Lions (a branch of the Roanoke Valley Breakfast Lions Club) met on September 18 and listened to an uplifting and informative talk given by Mrs. Lisa Miles, Director of the Orchard Hills Achievement Center (Homework Helps). Lisa told members that they need volunteers to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school tutoring ELL K-5 students. She said that a new location is opening in Fincastle at St. Mark’s Episcopal church to work with K-5 students from Breckinridge on Mondays and Wednesdays after school.
