Buchanan Library Improvements move forward

Improvements to the Buchanan Branch Library moved forward at the December 20, 2022 meeting of the Board of Supervisors when the members approved architectural services for proposed renovations to the facility. The meeting was held at the Botetourt County Administration Center in Amsterdam.

The fee for architectural services came in at around $200,000. The county is looking to expand the mezzanine and utilize the second floor of the facility.
