New title for Dabney S Lancaster Community College begins on July 1

Official Unveiling for Mountain Gateway CC Set July 1

The official unveiling for Mountain Gateway Community College will take place at 10 am, Friday, July 1, at the front entrance to the College’s main campus in Clifton Forge.

Mountain Gateway is the new name that was proposed to replace Dabney S. Lancaster Community College by a 25-member Task Force, selected by the Local Board, and approved by the Virginia State Board for Community Colleges last fall.

The public is invited to attend the brief ceremony and light refreshments will be served.
