Botetourt County Historical Society annual meeting is April 29

The annual meeting of The Botetourt County Historical Society, Inc. has been scheduled for Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 7:00 PM.  Members and friends are invited to attend.  The meeting will be held at the VFW Hall at the intersection of 220 and Country Club Rd.; 4902 Roanoke Rd.  The society will conduct necessary business and hear reports on ongoing projects. Weldon Martin will present on Gen. James Breckinridge and his history in the County. 

            Historical society members and interested community members are invited to attend. According to a historical society spokesperson, “We invite anyone who is interested in preserving and promoting the history of Botetourt County to consider membership in the Botetourt County Historical Society, Inc.
