COVID-19 vaccine updatesRCAHD is currently in Phase 1b of our vaccine rollout. Vaccine supply is increasing and we are very optimistic about our ability to move through this phase and into Phase 1c soon. We encourage everyone who is interested in vaccine to pre-register at vaccinate.virginia.gov. Please promote this website and phone number with your friends, family, clients, and partners.

For our 65+ population, we are offering an incoming call line to schedule appointments. Please share our RCAHD facebook post or the graphic and caption below with your 65+ network to let them know that they can call in directly! We’ve spent several weeks with a tremendous volunteer force making outgoing calls, but we know there are still folks we need to reach. Starting tomorrow, they can call us and schedule an appointment! 

Attention seniors ages 65+! Still looking for your COVID-19 vaccine? Call the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health District to schedule your appointment! You can call us between 9am – 4pm starting Wednesday, March 24th at (540) 613-6597. 
For our other populations, please ensure that you are pre-registered at vaccinate.virginia.gov and that your information is correct – especially contact information and your qualifying conditions (occupation, age, medical conditions), and we will reach out soon!
