The James River Knights wrestlers have their noses to the grindstone. On Saturday they traveled
to Wilson Memorial and lost the first match as a team against the Hornets 54 – 24 while
forfeiting four weight classes. In round 2, they faced Warren County and lost 45 – 33. For their
final match, they faced state competitor, Strasburg and secured a team victory 34 – 33.
On Wednesday, the Knights traveled to Central Woodstock and secured a 38-28 win over the
Falcons and a 32-30 win over William Monroe.
Tuesday, January 19, is Senior Night at James River where the Knights will host Carroll County
and Stuart’s Draft for a tri-meet.
