Jeffries thanks her first responders
Emma Jeffriess a local Veterinarian was going to work back in June when the car she was driving was crushed between two tractor trailers. She survived! On July 28, she came to the Botetourt Board of Supervisors and prior to the meeting, she thanked her first responders.
” I remember nothing about the wreck.” In response to her rescue team she said simply, “Thank You.” Jeffries walked around the room and thanked each person who came to wish her well. She even talked to her ER doctor via Face Time.
Jeffries did suffer several injuries including to her neck and lung, but she is on the way to recovery! Her mother also thanked the gathering for saving her daughter.
Thanks to all Fire and EMS and law enforcement personnel for their service every day!
