Art by BCPS students to hang in Charlottesvile and Richmond

Three Botetourt County Artists have been selected by the Virginia School Board Association and Superintendent of State Schools to have their work on display for the next year.
Supervisor of Education at BCPS, Mike Tetreault stated, ” Each year Botetourt County Schools holds a division art contest to pick
student art work that will be submitted to the VSBA (Virginia School Board
Association) Art Contest. This year the contest was done virtually. “
The artwork will be framed and rotated through the VSBA office in Charlottesville and at the office of the Superintendent of Schools for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The students are:
Elementary: Karly Mines, Buchanan, Art Teacher Holly Clary
Middle School: Sara McFayden, CAMS, Art Teacher Courtney May
High School: XiXi Luo, LBHS, Art Teacher Richard Moon
