This week we discuss The US Census 2020 that now in full swing. Many Botetourt residents have received their Census cards in the mail and the request to fill them out online.
The US Constitution deems a Census every ten years is necessary. Our forefathers felt knowing how many people live here in the country was very important. Census records date back about 200 years and are a Genealogy research tool. One of the primary reasons for an accurate Census is for fair representation in the US House of Representatives.
