Review: Miracle on 34th Street at Attic Productions
Ok, so you’ve seen it on TV – why go see it at Attic Theater? Many reasons. Bobby Guill will persuade you he really is Santa Claus. ( The magic of live theater lets you forget old boring reality) The 7 little elves are adorable. You get to really dig into the so called case against – and for – old Kris Kringle. And you will see hundreds of other reasons to renew your Christmas spirit with this spirited production.
James Honaker has directed this particular miracle, written by Valentine Davies, with a cast of tried and true actors. He moved Steven Aaron up from supporting roles to a major one and has assembled some of the best of the best from past seasons. And with all these folks on one stage, you have to remember Laura Ludlow’s stage management, too.
So, open your Christmas season with a jolly ho-ho as you visit Macy’s on 34th Street, for an amazing Miracle.
