Botetourt Chorus Holiday Spectacular review

This past Sunday Nov. 18, theBotetourt Chorus presented A Holiday Spectacular to a packed house at the VFW Hall in Daleville. Here is a review of the event.

Some very pleased Botetourt folks attended the holiday spectacular put on November 17 and 18 by the Botetourt County Chorus. You missed some seasonally appropriate Thanksgiving music – have you ever noticed how Thanksgiving seems to get lost in the rush to get to Christmas? And then some sweet well sung renditions of many favorites such as Silent Night, Away in a Manager, plus Go tell it on the Mountain. And, they didn’t forget the Red Nosed Reindeer we all love.

Director Stephen Harris, piano player Barbara Campbell and eleven singers created this magical time. Be looking for announcements of the spring event and make sure to attend for more lovely music from your talented neighbors.
