Mike Lee’s recital student photos and results

The Recital for Mike Lee’s students was held on Oct. 20th at The D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Theatre and there were twenty eight talented people performing that afternoon. One band has been born out of the younger group called “Pico Road” and they were a big hit performing at both recitals. The Attic Productions is very supportive of the recital and the work of John and Grace Lawson is much appreciated. David Austin is a great stage hand and also sang one of his original songs titled “Herbert’s Garden”.

There were two attendance awards given and from the younger group Addie Bankert was the recipient then Mitchell Fritz from the older group. The Most Improved Award – Teacher’s Choice went to Nathan Fender in the young group and to Ella Folk from the Teen/Adult Recital. Bailey Marshall, Lilli Clevenger and Jacob Holdern were the performance evaluators this year and the resultsare given to the students to help them to continue to improve their music and stage performance.

The high scorers this year in the Children’s Recital were Kaeli Berry 1st, Justin Broughman 2nd and Nathan Fender 3rd. The winners in the Teen/Adult Recital were Mike Hurd 1st, Hannah Davis 2nd and Jacob VanNess 3rd. In Lee’s book all of the students are winners and special credit is given to those who are overcoming their fear of the stage. Thanks to all who make this event a success, it is well worth the efforts! Keep picking and singing and we’ll see you next year on the 3rd Sunday in Oct. at the Attic Productions Theatre.
