The event will be July 8-12, 2020 at Breckinridge Elementary School in Fincastle, at 331 Springwood Rd.
Many records for families that went south and west from Botetourt are held within the Fincastle Library Genealogy Room as well as the Court House. A treasure trove for families as well as a historical record are within the information in both locations.
Botetourt History Museum has many books as well as many documents that trace not only the history of Virginia as the colony, but then the Commonwealth of Virginia as a leader in the western trek of population to the west. Additionally, there are many genealogy books for sale on various families from Botetourt County.
Over the next 9 months more info will come forth about The Genealogy Fair as it has much to offer.
