Sheetz grand opening and ribbon cutting
On August 1, Louie Sheetz of the family owned business out of Altoona, PA came to the grand opening of Sheetz in Daleville. Well over a hundred people crowded in for the $1000.00 giveaway and the ribbon cutting. Gas was priced at $2.19
C. J Boothe of Troutville won the $1000.00 giveaway
Special Olympics, Feeding America on behalf the Botetourt Food Pantry, and The Botetourt Education Foundation each received a check from Sheetz for $2,500.00. The ribbon cutting took place using the store employees. Good deal. On hand were numerous dignitaries including Billy Martin and Ray Sloan from the Board of Supervisors, Dr. Lisa Chen, Mike Ketron and
Bob Patterson with the school division.
It was a good morning. The sun came up and life goes on.
