Botetourt Announces Tour Dates, Artists and Kick-off Event Open Studios
Botetourt self-guided driving art tour will return for its 9th year on October 26 and 27, 2019. “Art in the Country” will feature fourteen artists in 10 locations opening their studios to the public.
“New this year will be a kick-off event at Blue Ridge Vineyard, 1027 Shiloh Drive, Eagle Rock, VA 24085, on Sunday, August 25 from 1:30- 4 PM,” says member artist Brett LaGue. “We will have artists painting, photographing, and sketching the beautiful views from the vineyard. Plus a few artists will be demonstrating other fine arts. The event is free and everyone is invited to attend,” he adds.
Artists participating in the 2019 open studios tour are Ed Bordett, Brett LaGue, Dreama Kattenbraker, Mark Woodie, Vera Dickerson, Nancy Dahlstorm, Lois Bisese, Willie Simmons, Dan Jones, Linda Atkinson, Amy Herzel, and Judith F Lochbrunner. Two guest artists: Robin Poteet and Mary Anne Meador will also join the tour.
