Macy Ware vies for Miss Virginia crown

Macy Ware grew up in Buchanan. She is graduate of James River High School and attends LSU. The Miss America pageant is a leading source for scholarships for young women like her.

This week Ware is competing in the Miss Virginia pageant at Liberty University in Lynchburg. She has held many titles in Virginia and in Louisiana and is competing as Miss Greater Prince William County.

Competition nights are June 20-21 and finals June 22.

Her talent is flamenco tap fusion dance. Her national platform for the Miss America organization is the Children’s Miracle Network. her personal platform is Breast Cancer awareness. Thus her B.E.A.T flamenco tap performance.
